This is going to be brief and straight to the point. Fasting is the best way to heal your body naturally. Fasting one day a week to give your organs a rest is a great way to stay healthy. Fasting 3 days or more resets your body. Fasting will ensure that you balance out the toxins going into your body. If you are overeating, fasting will most definitely be of great benefit to you.
Intermittent fasting is also a good way to help your organs out. Most of us have been taught that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You don't need a big breakfast. Having fruit, veggies, or juice for breakfast is a great way to start the day. I personally mix up having a smoothie or juice but always with fruit to start my day. I eat my first big meal around noon or 1 PM. I space out my meals two to three hours apart. When I do eat my first meal, it is always preceded by a salad. Having raw fruits or vegetables before your meal is great for your intestinal tract. If you feel that doing a 24hr fast is too much for you, start with intermittent fasting. When you get comfortable with a small fast, then you can work your way up by taking baby steps.
If you eat a lot of fried foods, fasting will make a noticeable difference in your life. Eating a lot of red meat clogs up the pipes in your body. If you would like to unclog your pipes, fast often. If you would like to connect this to a spiritual aspect, fast on the day of the week you were born.
